When I got the opportunity to test the L85a1 for myself, I was excited. But when I actually got to testing it, I was slightly disappointed.

Many people say, “the L8a1 is very similar to the G36.” But they are really, two different guns, specializing in different things.

Although, the L8a1 might slightly have look of the G36, because of it’s scope. The L8a1 and the G36 are very different, these are the areas they differ:

The L8a1 deals more damage than the G36, but shoots slower than the G36. Therefore, making the G36 more suitable for close combat. (To me personally)

The L8a1 is also more accurate than the G36. But, if you use the L8a1’s scope, the recoil is so drastically increased, that it becomes very inaccurate, making the G36 more accurate at medium to long range/while using the scope mode. But making the L8a1 more suitable for medium range combat.

My final conclusion, the L8a1 did not live up to the hype, for me personally. The programmers of Warrock should of not given the L8a1 huge recoil while in scope mode. Also, I don’t think it’s level requirement should be lvl 26+.

To note: You cannot buy the L8a1 at the item shop. The only way you can optain the L8a1 is by: Buying: Premium or a dinar package, and when you buy it you will get a code. If you're lucky, that code will unlock the L8a1 for 7days or even 30 days. (If you bought retail, you will also recieve a code which could unlock the L8a1.)
